𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟭. 𝗦𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆. At Druckhaus Delmenhorst, Germany, a Ferag inserting line from 1991 still processes weekly papers today. More than 30 years of continuous operation stable, productive, and economical. The line has been continuously expanded and modernised over the years. Under a service contract in place since 2011, Ferag specialists are on site around 12 weeks per year maintaining both the 1991 line and newer systems installed in 2020 under the same service structure. That a production line runs stably for more than 30 years is no accident. It is the result of solid engineering, continuous modernisation instead of replacement, and consistent preventive maintenance across the entire equipment landscape. Preventive maintenance creates predictability, reduces risk, and preserves system performance over decades extending production equipment lifespan well beyond original expectations.
