When Fenix Repower began establishing operations in Ukraine in early 2022, our focus was on long‑term project development and building strong local partnerships. Within weeks, the operating environment changed dramatically — yet our team continued. They are still there, still working, and still moving projects forward. Their resilience remains the foundation of our work in Ukraine. Four years on, the situation remains far from normal. • Attacks on energy infrastructure continue to disrupt essential services — a concern consistently raised by international humanitarian organizations. • Winters with unstable electricity and heating systems put communities and businesses under severe pressure. • The human cost of the war remains significant and ongoing. The conflict persists with no clear path to resolution — a reality reflected in international reporting and in the daily pressures facing communities, infrastructure, and essential services. And yet, Ukraine continues to operate, rebuild, and develop. Infrastructure is repaired, companies remain active, and new renewable energy capacity is advancing. As part of the wider European community, a resilient Ukrainian energy system strengthens regional stability, long‑term security, and investor confidence. We especially acknowledge our Ukrainian team. Working under unpredictable and demanding conditions, they demonstrate professionalism, focus, and resilience every day. Their dedication makes it possible to continue developing renewable energy projects under circumstances no one should ever have to face.
