Like a fairytale suspended between dream and architecture, FENDI presents Maria Grazia Chiuri’s first Cruise collection through a cinematic vision inspired by Histoire d’Eau by Jacques de Bascher. Set within an uninhabited rationalist building in twentieth-century Rome, Suzie moves through spaces of marble, light, geometry, and silence. Dressed in black and wrapped in feathers, she becomes both presence and apparition — powerful, distant, and untouchable. The film dissolves the boundary between reality and dream, where staircases dominate the scene as symbols of transformation and passage into the unknown. Against this austere landscape, the garments emerge as the true protagonists: timeless, sculptural, and intensely real.
