A geoscientist, educator, poet, and artist, she brings a completely new lens to space exploration — one rooted in creativity, sustainability, and inclusion. She calls herself an Afrofuturist space explorer, imagining a future where science, culture and the environment are in balance. She’s also a TED speaker, analog astronaut, and advocate for accessible, ethical space education.
