This Sunday, our colleague Luke Duckworth will be taking on the Fred Whitton Challenge, a single-day, 180km cycle through the Lake District with nearly 4,000m of climbing, widely regarded as the hardest one-day cycling sportive in the UK.   Luke is riding in memory of his childhood friend Dave, who sadly passed away just over a year ago, aged only 34.
