We’re proud to be named alongside Elevance Health Foundation as a Gold Winner at the 2026 Halo Awards, presented by Engage for Good! At a time when nearly 48 million people in the U.S. experience food insecurity, the vital link between access to healthy food and long-term health and well-being has never mattered more. Through the Food as Medicine 3.0 program—a three-year national effort reaching communities across the U.S.—Feeding America and Elevance Health Foundation worked hand-in-hand with partner food banks and health care partners to support neighbors in accessing the medically supported food they need to manage chronic illness and improve their well-being.
