In Italy a huge discussion is recently ongoing about our right-wing (?) parties. The number of those who talk about them is growing, the number of those who fear them is growing, and the number of those who feel represent by them is growing (more or less). Sometimes, however, those in the aforementioned categories lack a deep understanding of the phenomenon, which requires study and reflection. In this regard, I recommend a return to the classics. Among the many, I thought of a title that might be useful, Giovanni Papini’s "Dizionario dell'Omo Salvatico", a provocative title that the author addressed to himself. Link to the full text below.
