During her degree in Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics, Angel Panesar discovered a genuine interest in data, which sparked her move towards a career in technology. Alongside her studies, she spent five years working part‑time at Sainsbury’s, including during the pandemic, building strong resilience and adaptability. Today, Angel is an FDM Consultant, working as a Solutions Reliability Engineer (SRE) for an investment management client, where she plays a key role in keeping critical systems running smoothly. Her client recently shared feedback following the global rollout of a new equity trading platform, Portware: "Angel took it upon herself to quickly learn the application and become a local subject‑matter expert, supporting 12 traders in‑region in a highly time‑critical environment.
