If you like subscription math, this is an interesting one: ~5.5% of ChatGPT users are paying. That sounds small. It really isn’t: +15M paying users in 6 months +43% in half a year. The goal: 220M paying users by 2030, on 2.6B users. ~8.5% conversion. That’s ~2.9x total user growth. But ~4.4x paying user growth. So the real bet isn’t just scale. It’s accelerating conversion.
