I'm excited to announce that I've successfully completed the Women Techsters 3-Week Data Analysis Bootcamp offered by Tech4Dev! This intensive program covered everything from data cleaning and wrangling to statistical analysis and visualization in Excel and Power BI. I learned from the very experienced instructor Mr. Clifford Frempong whose expertise and dedication were invaluable. I'm especially grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this program as a woman in tech. Tech4Dev is committed to empowering women and girls through technology, and their Women Techsters program is a testament to that commitment. Here's a quick breakdown of the program: Core Training (September 21st - October 1st, 2023): This period covered the fundamentals of data analysis, including data types, data structures, data manipulation, and data visualization in Excel and Power BI. I also learned about different statistical methods and how to use them to analyze data. Group Project Week (October 2nd - 8th, 2023): For this week, I worked with a team of classmates to analyze a real-world dataset. We used our skills to visualize data and to identify trends, patterns, and insights from it. Soft Skills Trainings (October 6th/13th, 2023): In addition to technical skills, the bootcamp also covered important soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving. These skills are essential for success in any data analysis role. Demo Day (October 12th, 2023): On demo day, two of my team colleagues and I presented our group project to a panel of judges and industry professionals. This was a great opportunity to showcase our skills and learn from feedback from experts. Graduation Ceremony (October 27th, 2023): On graduation day, I celebrated with my classmates and instructors. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to have participated in this program and to have learned so much in such a short time. I'm confident that the skills and knowledge I gained from this bootcamp will help me succeed in any role.
