Milestone #peripheral_vascular_disease_intervention Beautiful case endovascular treatment of bilateral aorto-iliac disease conducted this week at #MKCC. #Bahrain #RMS 60 years male has been visiting orthopedics for few years for lower back pain and thigh pain at walking. CT showed: - 70% aorta infra-renal - Occluded RIA - 90% LIA stenosis followed by aneurysmal segment LIA Intervention : surgical VS endovascular Patient prefers Endovascular (#CERAB ) 1. Crossing occluded segment failed from the retrograde RCF artery therefore. Switch to cross over from the contralateral limb with UF catheter and 0.18 wire 2. Two aortic graft stent were inflated overlapped. 3. Two kisssig cover iliac stents 15mm overlapped with distal Aortic graft stent inflated simultaneously post dil aortic part with 10 mm balloon both limbs. 4. Extended the stent to LCIA with another shorter covered stent to seal the aneurysm. This was a team work by our cath lab stars and colleagues who support this milestone.
