The last to submit his credentials today is Mr. Tamsir Jasseh, an independent candidate and leader of Our Homeland Movement. Jasseh, a one-time head of The Gambia Immigration Department (GID), was jailed for complicity in the 2006 Ndure Cham plot coup d’etat. He was jailed for 6 years.
