🎉 Excited to share that our research has been published in World Neurosurgery! In this retrospective study of 42 surgically treated patients, we investigated the radiological, histopathological, and surgical outcomes of intradural spinal ependymomas. Rather than relying on the traditional intramedullary/extramedullary classification, we proposed a practical anatomical framework by evaluating tumors of the true spinal cord, conus medullaris, and filum terminale as distinct subgroups. As a medical student passionate about neurosurgery and clinical research, it is a privilege to contribute to research that may help refine the understanding and surgical management of these rare spinal tumors. I am sincerely grateful to all my mentors and co-authors for their guidance, collaboration, and trust throughout this project. Looking forward to continuing my journey in neurosurgical research. 🔗 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/epHjwGzX #Neurosurgery #SpineSurgery #Neuroscience #ClinicalResearch #MedicalStudent #WorldNeurosurgery #AcademicMedicine #NeuroOncology #Research #Medicine
