IBA is almost here! Fasken is proud to host this year’s event in Toronto, and we look forward to reconnecting with our colleagues and friends from around the world. Karen Sargeant, our Ontario Managing Partner, is serving as one of the co-chairs for the Toronto Host Committee, which is made up of Toronto’s largest law firms. As part of that committee, Karen and others have been assisting the IBA with identifying the best Canadian speakers and will be participating in a Host Committee Reception on November 4, 2025. Our knowledge in cross-border M&A will be a focal point at the conference, contributing to discussions on global business trends and legal innovations. Fasken’s Perry Bellegarde, Tom Eldridge, Zach Romano, Kimberly Potter, Huy Do, Alix Herber MA LLB (she/her), Antonella Penta, Marie-Claude Marcil, Andrew Alleyne, Stéphane Fillion, Jessica Cameron, Andrew Haikal, Kevin O'Callaghan, and Virginia Schweitzer will be speaking at various events during the week and are excited to engage in insightful discussions.
