Today we (David May , Jan Yorrick Dietrich and Patrick Schiebel) had the chance to visit GKN Fokker and have a look at their impressive work in the field in thermoplastic composites and especially welding. Thanks Arnt Offringa and Marco Doldersum for the inspiring insights! We completed our tour with a stop over at ThermoPlastic composites Research Center (TPRC) to check out the fascinsting recent work of Rens Pierik , Remko Akkerman and Sebastiaan Wijskamp. All in all, a fantastic day and we are happy to see such strong allies working together with us towards ever-growing use of thermoplastic technologies.
