I'm thrilled to announce that our paper "Designing a Single Motor Dual-Axis Sun Tracker to Optimize the Cost of a Smart Solar Power Plant" has been published by Springer Nature in the International Journal of Environmental Science and Technology (IJEST)! In this work, we introduced a novel concept that challenges conventional solar tracking systems. While traditional dual-axis trackers require two motors, our innovative design achieves full dual-axis tracking using only a single motor—a breakthrough that significantly: ✅ Simplifies the mechanical design ✅ Reduces manufacturing costs ✅ Lowers maintenance expenses ✅ Maintains high tracking accuracy This cost-effective solution brings us one step closer to making smart solar power plants more accessible and sustainable, especially for large-scale deployments where every penny counts. I'm incredibly grateful to my brilliant students and colleagues who made this achievement possible: 🙏 Navid Asadi – for his excellent work and bringing the new Idea into real life 🙏 AmirMahdi Akbari – for his hard work and contributions 🙏 Ali Najafi-Ardekany – for his invaluable guidance and support 🙏 Dr. Hasti Borgheipour – for her dedication and technical expertise This work is a testament to what teamwork and passion for renewable energy can accomplish. I hope this research inspires new directions in solar energy optimization and sparks further innovation in the field. 📄 Read the full article here: https://lnkd.in/eNkAUds7 I'd love to hear your thoughts—feel free to share your comments or questions below! 👇 #SolarEnergy #RenewableEnergy #SunTracker #Innovation #Research #SustainableEnergy #SmartSolar #CostOptimization #Engineering #MechanicalDesign #CleanTech #EnergyEfficiency
