I am delighted to share that my working paper, "Developing a Risk-Based Stress Testing Framework for Microfinance Banks in Uzbekistan: A SVAR Approach," has been published in the IHEID Working Papers Series at the Geneva Graduate Institute. (BCC)This research develops a macroprudential stress testing framework for Uzbekistan's emerging microfinance banking sector. Using a Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) model, it examines how macroeconomic shocks affect the resilience of microfinance banks and provides practical insights for strengthening risk-based supervision and enhancing financial stability. (IDEAS/RePEc)I would like to express my sincere gratitude to my supervisor Professor Steven Ongena (University of Zurich), Professor Cédric Tille, for his invaluable guidance, encouragement, and continuous support throughout this research journey. I am also deeply grateful to the BCC Programme team for their insightful discussions.I am also grateful to the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) for supporting the BCC Programme and to the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan for providing me with the opportunity to pursue this research and continuously supporting my professional development. This publication represents an important milestone in my academic and professional journey, and I look forward to continuing research that bridges academic insights with practical policy solutions for financial sector development.📄 Full paper: https://lnkd.in/dMaqa5Jj IDEAS/RePEc: https://lnkd.in/d-jTmNhH #CentralBanking #BCCProgramme #FinancialStability #Microfinance #RiskBasedSupervision #StressTesting #SVAR #Uzbekistan #IHEID
