How can innovation help protect farmland birds across North-West Europe? In the first FARMBIRD newsletter, we share how our Interreg North-West Europe project is turning ambition into action. Together with farmers, volunteers, researchers and policymakers, FARMBIRD is developing practical solutions to improve farmland bird monitoring and conservation. From AI-supported drone monitoring to field visits and real-time nest detection, new technologies are helping us make protection faster, smarter and more effective.
