I had the incredible opportunity last month to represent Brazil and Edgbarrow Sixth Form with Izzy Flower at the Mock COP30 conference hosted by Wellington College. This experience was truly inspiring, engaging in debates, forming alliances, and negotiating climate policies gave me a deeper insight into the complexity of international climate action. It was not only an honour to represent a nation’s perspective, but also an invaluable chance to strengthen my skills in leadership, diplomacy, communication, and collaboration.
