🔍 Nuclear Inspectors' Day 2026 Today, we organised our annual Nuclear Inspectors' Day - a dedicated moment for inspectors to come together, exchange experiences, and learn from one another. 💡 With more than 50 inspectors from different departments and fields of expertise, the day fosters strong cross-fertilisation of knowledge - not only internally, but also through engagement with external partners. This year, for example, we welcomed Bart Accou, Head of Safety and Operations at the European Union Agency for Railways, who shared valuable insights on human and organisational factors in high-risk environments. A key takeaway throughout the day was that safety cannot be reduced to procedures or formal systems alone. Human behaviour, organisational context and operational realities all play a crucial role in how safety is achieved in practice.
