📌 Yesterday, we participated in a crisis exercise held at the Civil Protection site in Crisnée. During this exercise, the focus was specifically on the operation of the measurement unit, #CELMES. The exercise brought together several key partners, including Direction générale Sécurité civile (DGSC), SCK CEN, IRE – IRE ELiT and La Défense. Participants were tasked with locating a radioactive source and also tested the applicable decontamination procedures.    👉 The exercise provided a valuable opportunity to test coordination mechanisms, information sharing, and decision-making processes in a realistic crisis scenario. Such targeted exercises are essential to strengthen collaboration between stakeholders and to ensure a high level of preparedness in the face of complex and unexpected situations.   👏 A sincere thank you to all participants for their commitment, professionalism, and constructive cooperation throughout the exercise.
