Meet Melissa Mitchell, the artist behind Atlanta's biggest canvas yet 🖼️ A two-time FAMU graduate (B.S. Public Relations, M.S. Public Management) and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Melissa turned a 2014 season of healing into Abeille Creations, a globally recognized wearable art and design brand. Her latest work, the Trefoil Trail, spans 10,000+ square feet along Atlanta's 17th Street Bridge, commissioned by the City of Atlanta ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and completed in just 30 to 40 days. She brought Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta into the process too, 200+ girls helped paint it and earned a custom badge for their work.
