Some stories stay with you. The story of our colleague, EMT Jan Roald Pedersen from Denmark, is one we feel compelled to share. Over 20 years ago, a severe accident changed everything. It was the beginning of a years-long journey of surgeries, a heart transplant, and finally, a leg amputation that nearly broke his spirit.
