The hardest decision wasn't organizing the hackathon. It was deciding to do it in the first place. I am an international student at Politecnico di Torino. No big team. No budget. No previous experience organizing anything at this scale. But I took the leap. > I thought — I need to go out and arrange something cool. So we arranged "PoliTO Vibathon 2026" In just 20 days, we got 98 registrations. Lorenzo Rizzo and I had to decline 18 participants registration — they weren't PoliTO students. We are sorry, guys. Next time <3 80 participants. Nearly 60 showed up. 4 hours of pure vibe coding. 19 teams. 2 problems. 2 Winners. And the moment that stayed with me? I walked to every team personally and asked — is this your first time building with Lovable? 50 out of 60 said yes. 50 people built their first web app with just prompting that day. That was the whole point. We didn't do this alone. Lovable came in as our tech sponsor. Politecnico di Torino gave us the venue. Red Bull kept everyone going.
