## The Timeless Message of Islam: From the Beginning of Time When you think of Islam, what comes to mind? Many people assume it is a relatively modern religion that began roughly 1,440 years ago with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). However, in Islamic theology, Islam is not a "new" religion. The word "Islam" means submission to the will of God, and its core message monotheism, peace, and justice did not start in the 7th century. It began before the creation of the universe and was the very same faith practiced by all the major prophets throughout human history as shown in the video. As we reflect on significant historical milestones like Ashura (the 10th of Muharram), we are reminded of how deeply interconnected human history truly is. This video explores the profound events tied to this day across the lifetimes of various prophets: 🔹 The Age of Creation & Deliverance From the creation and forgiveness of Adam, to Noah being saved from the great flood. 🔹 The Triumphs of Faith Abraham being saved from the fire, Joseph's rescue from the well, and Moses leading his people to safety from Pharaoh. 🔹 The Ultimate Sacrifice Centuries later, this same day became a tragic turning point in history with the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad), who stood firmly for truth and justice. Islam is a continuation and completion of a message that has existed since the dawn of time.
