When processing requirements evolve, replacing a 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆-𝗴𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 is often not only a matter of productivity, but also of line capability. One of the main drivers is the need to process 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀 and 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀, including HSS. These applications require equipment designed to withstand greater cutting forces, higher structural loads and more demanding process conditions without compromising accuracy or repeatability. Another key reason is the increase in 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆. New-generation shears make it possible to move from a start-stop cutting process to 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, reducing cycle times, improving line efficiency and enabling higher production output. At Fagor Arrasate, we have extensive experience in the engineering and manufacture of 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝘆-𝗱𝘂𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝘁-𝘁𝗼-𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. Each section of the line is designed to work as part of a complete, high-performance system: powerful levelers to achieve the required flatness, robust feeding and measuring systems to ensure dimensional accuracy, and heavy-duty stackers capable of handling thick sheets safely and efficiently. Because in heavy-duty cut-to-length applications, increasing capacity requires more than a stronger shear. It requires productivity, process control, engineering expertise and a fully integrated line concept. #HeavyGauge #CutToLength #ServiceCenter #Retrofit #FagorArrasate
