Congratulations to our award winners from the Department of Biological Sciences who graduated yesterday BSc in Bioscience graduate James Conheady received the 1st place Thornton Medal for achieving the highest QCA in Bioscience, James also had the joint highest QCA of the graduating class at University of Limerick so well done James and we look forward to hearing more about your future endeavours BSc in Food Science and Health graduate Ciara O'Shea was awarded the Dairygold Co-Operative Society Ltd Food Science and Health Academic Achievement Award pictured with Assistant Professor Miryam Amigo-Benavent BSc in Food Science and Health graduates Nicola Walsh, Sallyann O’Dwyer and John Madigan were awarded the Kerry Best FYP in Food Science and Health Award, pictured with Cal Flynn from Kerry Group and Professor Daniel Granato BSc in Equine Science graduate Jake Draper was awarded the Horse Racing Ireland Prize for services to the Thoroughbred Industry while Maja Guenther was awarded the Frank McGourty Award.
