At the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, UCPH, strengthening collaboration across disciplines and advancing translational research are key priorities. We believe that many of the most important breakthroughs in health and medicine happen when basic and clinical researchers work together to transform scientific discoveries into solutions that benefit patients.   The Novo Nordisk Foundation Tandem Programme supports exactly the kind of close collaboration between basic and clinical researchers that is central to SUND’s strategic ambitions, and we are delighted to see researchers from the faculty among this year’s grant recipients. The projects exemplify how partnerships across disciplines, institutions and research environments can accelerate the journey from discovery to impact.
