I am pleased to let you know that I have started today in Familia Torres, as General Manager.   Familia Torres is one of the most renowned family-owned wineries in Europe, and with a long tradition of excellence in wine production, since 1870. The 4th and 5th generation of the Torres Family are now actively involved in the Board of the company. Familia Torres owns wine production areas in various geographical areas of Spain, including Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat,Costers del Segre, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Rías Baixas, as well as in Chile and California.   Since 2008, Familia Torres has been focusing on sustainability in wine production, and finding solutions against climate change, inspiring others to take action as co-founders of the International Wineries for Climate Action(IWCA) association. It is also a member of the prestigious international Primum Familiae Vini (PFV). I take the opportunity to thank all my former Albacora and Salica colleagues and shareholders. We did very well together as a Team, starting the transformation of the company and reaching excellent results in 2024. I am confident that Albacora and Salica will continue to perform well in the present and future, in Bermeo, in Galicia, in Ecuador and everywhere. It is a pleasure and honour to be now part of Familia Torres, I will do my very best to contribute, with the rest of the Familia Torres team, to bring the Torres heritage and legacy to higher levels. #sustainablewine #teamwork #FamiliaTorres #Torres&Earth
