Huge congrats to Azhar Patriawan on landing a Sustainability Internship at Niagara Bottling 👏 From a sustainability externship to Niagara Bottling, he’s turned one experience into THREE internships 🌱💧 As a student at University of California, Berkeley, Azhar was intentional about building experience that aligned with his interest in sustainability and environmental economics. Through his Sustainable Strategy Externship with Schreiber Foods, he worked on real-world sustainability challenges including root cause analysis, facility-level data, and understanding how manufacturing operations approach sustainability. That one experience created real momentum. After completing his externship, Azhar went on to land three internships including roles at G3 Enterprises, Cinesis, and now Niagara Bottling, where he will be working in sustainability. In his words “The Sustainable Strategy Externship was very helpful in affirming my interest in the field of sustainability and in helping me tell my story about why I am interested in this internship. This externship role and industry aligned very well with Niagara Bottling, providing me with a great introduction to sustainability practices in a manufacturing environment.” Azhar’s journey is a reminder that when your experience aligns with your goals, opportunities follow.
