Councils are essential partners in the success of the NSW container deposit scheme, Return and Earn, helping to drive community participation, boost recycling rates and reduce waste to landfill. Last week, we were delighted to connect with more than 125 councillors and mayors over three days at the LGNSW 2025 Conference at Penrith Panthers delivered by our partner, Local Government NSW We had great conversations about our new Return and Earn bin baskets and cradles for public litter bins—designed to help communities access eligible drink containers, earn a 10c refund and reduce contamination.
