We were in excellent company yesterday, as we welcomed over 80 representatives from community groups, charities, return point operators, local and state government, scheme partners and industry to the Parliament of NSW to celebrate the incredible milestone of 15 billion containers returned through Return and Earn. This significant milestone would not be possible without the work and support of everyone in the room yesterday, and it was fantastic to celebrate with you all. A huge thank you to our MC Robin Mellon, speakers Dr Marjorie O'Neill MP and Tony Chappel NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA), panel hosts Danielle Smalley and James Dorney TOMRA Cleanaway and panel speakers Maddie Walsh Children's Medical Research Institute, Clare Pearson Little Wings Ltd, Yolanda Saiz, St Vincent de Paul Society NSW and Frank Lintvelt, Circular Plastics Australia. As well as a special thank you to Yvonne Weldon AM from the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land COuncil for delivering a beautiful welcome to country to kick off the event, reminding us of the importance of our work in caring for country.
