We had the pleasure of hosting our growing community for a 🎉 housewarming party 🎉 at the #Futureforests headquarters.. After a wram welcome by the cluster’s spokesperson, Jürgen Bauhus, and executive director, Dr. May-Britt Becker, guests were invited to engage in an interactive discussion on #transformingforests from a #socialscience perspective, which was facilitated Stephanie Bethmann from Forstliche Versuchs- und Forschungsanstalt Baden-Württemberg (FVA) Against the backdrop of a 3D visualization model, Markus Weiler gave a brief overview of study sites in the #blackforest and #upperrhine region, previewing some of the great research researchers will be conducting. Last but not least, over 50 community members were able to get to know each other better with the help of some tasty finger food and ☕ 🍴. The Cluster is looking forward to the continued growth and blending of our research community into an interdisciplinary team aiming to make tomorrow's forests more resilient and adaptive.
