One of the biggest pain points in #RealEstate decarbonisation is that too many assets still look better on paper than they perform in practice. The challenge is not a lack of targets. It is a lack of delivery.   Design-stage ratings do not always reflect operational reality. Hidden loads, limited sub-metering, value engineering during construction, and commissioning drift can all undermine #BuildingPerformance from day one. At the same time, #decarbonisation capex is often delayed, while #carbon pathways and regulatory pressure keep moving forward.   That creates a clear delivery gap: ⚠️ Strong ambition, but slow execution ⚠️ Certification, but weak operational visibility ⚠️ Long-term targets, but short-term inaction   For investors and asset managers, this is no longer just a #sustainability issue. It is becoming an asset performance, risk and value issue.
