🏆 Eviden and Westermo Network Technologies have been selected as the winners of the Rail Data Transfer Challenge, launched together with DB InfraGO / Deutsche Bahn With inspection trains generating up to 10 TB of data daily, fast and reliable train-to-ground data transfer is becoming essential for digital #rail operations. Among 19 international submissions, the Eviden-Westermo consortium stood out with a solution combining mmWave wireless technology, railway-grade networking, and advanced data processing. During final testing in Minden, it achieved transfer speeds of up to 2.4 Gbps (gigabits per second).
