πππ²πΏπΉπΉπ²π»π°π² π¦π²π°ππΏπ²π πͺπΌπΏπΉπ±'π ππΆπΏππ π’πΏπ±π²πΏ π³πΌπΏ π πβππ π πΈππ¬.π³ ππ»π΄πΆπ»π² Everllence has announced the world's first order for its latest generation of dualβfuel methane engine - the Everllence B&W MEβGI Mk10.7 - marking a significant milestone for the platform and for the car-carrier segment. The order comprises 4 Γ 6S60MEβGI Mk10.7 engines, to be built by CSSC Engine Co., Ltd. in Qingdao, China, for installation aboard four 8,600 CEU vessels under construction at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard in Nanjing. The vessels are ordered by Global Car Carriers (GCC), the Norwegian shipowner. Bjarne Foldager, Head of Two-Stroke Business, said: "This new milestone marks the first commercial application of the MEβGI engine on the Mk10.7 platform and underscores the market's continued confidence in our dualβfuel methane technology. This first order also highlights the strong collaboration between owner, yard and engine builder, and reinforces Everllence's position as a leading provider of twoβstroke, dualβfuel propulsion solutions." The MEβGI Mk10.7 offers operational flexibility, high fuel efficiency, negligible methane slip and proven reliability based on the Dieselβcycle combustion principle - enabling GCC to optimise fuel strategy over time while maintaining high performance in both fuel-oil and methane operation. Christian Ludwig, VP Head of Global Sales & Promotion, Two-Stroke Business, said: "The MEβGI concept has been widely adopted across the maritime industry, with a strong orderbook and extensive inβservice experience supporting its position as a preferred dualβfuel solution. The ME-GI platform alone has now accumulated more than 1,260 engine orders and over 33 GW of engine power." The introduction of the Mk10.7 generation represents the next step in the evolution of the MEβGI programme, which continues to expand across segments and applications with hundreds of engines already in service and on order globally.
