Empowering nurses requires continuous learning, practical exposure, and access to the right clinical tools. As part of our International Nurses’ Week 2026 Workshop & Symposium, participants engaged in impactful Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) and Basic ECG training sessions designed to strengthen clinical knowledge and improve patient outcomes. The IPC training led by Patience Oboh, Quality Manager, Evercare Hospital Lekki reinforced the critical role of infection prevention in patient safety and quality healthcare delivery, while the ECG session led by Temitayo Ojo, Nursing Supervisor - Emergency Room, Evercare Hospital Lekki provided practical insights to support early detection, timely intervention, and better clinical decision-making. These sessions created an engaging learning environment for both practicing nurses and nursing students, reflecting this year’s theme: “Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives.” At Evercare Hospital Lekki, we remain committed to empowering healthcare professionals through innovative learning experiences that uphold the highest standards of care, safety, and clinical excellence. | Feyintoluwa Ogungbenro FWACN, MSc, RN 🇳🇬🇬🇧 | Payson Ezekiel | Temitayo Ojo | | International Nurses Week | Our Nurses Our Future | Empowered Nurses | IPC | ECG Training | Patient Safety | Echocardiogram | Infection Prevention and Control | Nursing Excellence | Healthcare Innovation | Evercare Hospital Lekki | Quality Healthcare | Healthcare Nigeria |
