The 𝗞𝗡𝗫 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 is an essential IoT player since the early start when this new hybrid communication protocol emerged, led by a group of 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 visionary manufacturers. I had the chance to join the KNX boat 20 years ago. And since then, KNX never left me. I breathe KNX, I dream KNX and I work hard for KNX. That’s why I am extremely honoured to have be re-elected on 16th of February 2026 as the 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗞𝗡𝗫 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, together with my partner in crime 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝘂𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗲𝗰𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲-𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁. The journey started one year and a half ago when I took over from Franz Kammerl who retired after leading the KNX Organisation for a remarkable 11 years with a great leadership. I am extremely proud today that the new elected KNX Executive Board (#KEB) members confirmed their trust in us for the next 5 years. Thank you Charles Brunel, Max Essers, Bastian Elsner, Christian Feltgen, Lucy Han, Martin Herms, Martin A. Jäger, Roger Karner, Samuel Merkli, Michael Möller, Dario Sala, Dr. Lutz Steiner, Alfred Vrieling, Klaus Wächter, Dr. Thomas Weinzierl, Robert Zizlsperger. I also warmly thanks the Schneider Electric leadership for giving me the opportunity to pursue this role on top my Schneider Electric activities focused on KNX Partnerships and Innovation: Preeti Bajaj, Jerome Gackel, Dr. Mario Kolar, Laurent ROUSSEL. Glad that the adventure and roller coaster go on. Count on me to dedicate my time, efforts and passion to continue to make the KNX ecosystem grow, create a 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 and drive all our activities towards 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 for our stakeholders in the value chain.
