Medical Doctor | Junior Researcher for Type 2 Inflammation | Aspiring Otorhinolaryngologist

On August 28–29 I had the opportunity to participate in the Swiss Society for Allergology and Immunology (SSAI) Annual Congress in Lausanne. Over two inspiring days, I attended lectures by leading experts from Switzerland and from around the world and engaged in exciting discussions on cutting-edge research in allergology and immunology. I am very grateful to the scientific committee for giving me the chance to: 🔹 Present a poster showcasing the work of our group at Humanitas Research Hospital 🔹 Deliver a short talk on the research I have been conducting in the laboratory since the beginning of this year This congress was not only a valuable scientific experience, but also an occasion to connect with fellow researchers working on type 2 inflammation and CRSwNP. A heartfelt thank you goes to: 👉 The Allergology team at Humanitas: Valentina Marzio, Emanuele Nappi, Christina Arpajian, Giovanni Paoletti, Giorgio Walter Canonica, Enrico Heffler 👉 The Rhinology team at Humanitas: Francesco Giombi, Gian Marco Pace, Edoardo Schifino, Luca Malvezzi 👉 The Histology Core team of Humanitas University: Mohamed Hegazi, Fabio Pasqualini, Fabio Grizzi for their support in making the poster and presentation possible. Finally, I would like to sincerely thank Humanitas University, Prof. Aghemo, Head of the Department of Biomedical Sciences, and Prof. Kallikourdis, Head of the Humanitas branch of the Virgilio Program, for encouraging my growth as a future physician scientist and supporting my participation in this congress.
