Universities and other organisations across Europe are rethinking how they assess, incentivise and recognise academic work. 🎓 Accelerated by CoARA - Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment and related national initiatives, academic career assessment reform is increasingly shaping institutional cultures, organisational structures and the conditions for meaningful engagement with society. It is also emerging as one of the most significant transformative leadership challenges facing higher education today. In this webinar, we will explore how leadership at different levels of academia can support this transformation. 🏛️ We invite university leaders, research managers, or other members of the higher education and research community to attend this interactive exchange. Participants will be encouraged to share experiences, barriers and emerging solutions across institutional and national contexts. Together, we will examine the leadership dilemmas, capacity-building needs and engagement strategies that can help turn assessment reform into meaningful institutional change. 📅 Tuesday 19 May | 13:30 CEST Speakers 🎤 Irene Ramos Vielba, Adviser, National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), Spain; Member of the CoARA Steering Board Ragnar Lie, Senior Adviser, Universitets- og høgskolerådet Andreas Raggautz, Director of Quality Assurance, Universität Graz, Austria Maria Pietilä, post-doctoral researcher, University of Eastern Finland, Finland María Blanco-Palencia, Adviser, EUA 🔗 Registration is open and free - join us for the discussion via the link in the comments.
