Manon shares how Utrecht University has been investing in developing a culture where staff development thrives since the 90s, how its longstanding educational leadership programme fits into this strategic mission, and how the university supports its staff through educational scholarship and evidence-informed learning and teaching that is tailored to work in each of their disciplines. This podcast series is part of an Erasmus Plus funded project called Staff Development for Learning and Teaching at European Universities (STAFF-DEV). The project aims to analyse how staff development and academic assessment are conducted at European higher education institutions and to strengthen institutional capacity and strategies in this regard.
