We have just proposed the Draft Budget for 2027.   Almost €200 billion targeted where it matters: a competitive economy, affordable housing, stronger defence, continued support for Ukraine, energy transition, agriculture, and the programmes that hold Europe together. The last few years have brought diverse challenges, including a pandemic, soaring energy prices, a cost of living crisis, and war on European soil. Today’s budget is part of Europe’s response.
