Peace remains the main objective of the European Union.    For centuries, Europe was divided by conflict. The creation of the European Union changed that, proving that dialogue between 🇪🇺 countries, cooperation, and solidarity are stronger than war. Since then, we’ve worked to build bridges where there were once barriers: we’ve mediated conflicts, supported refugees, and promoted understanding across cultures.    But peace is never guaranteed. It requires constant commitment. That is why the EU continues to stand for diplomacy, human dignity, and unity: today, tomorrow, and for generations to come.     #PeaceDay
