It’s time to rethink that ‘old phone drawer’ packed with cracked screens.    A new study highlights how modular smartphone design could extend products' lifetime, by making devices easier to repair.    🔋 It allows users to replace or upgrade individual components – cameras, batteries storage or processors.   🔧 39% of modular device owners successfully handled repairs themselves.   ♻️ Repair-friendly design may strengthen user attachment and delay replacement.    The EU’s Circular Economy Action Plan is helping to make repairable design the norm, as a vital step toward reducing e-waste.     ➡️ https://lnkd.in/dejANnWf
