As global oil prices rise and uncertainty grows, accelerating the transition to homegrown clean energy has become urgent.      Over the past year, we have already taken important steps under the Affordable Energy Action Plan to help lower energy costs for people and businesses.  Today, we are building on this work with a new set of initiatives to boost investment in clean energy, strengthen Europe’s energy independence, and help reduce energy prices, including: 🏠 Citizen’s Energy Package - reducing household bills, empowering citizens, and tackling energy poverty.   💶 Clean Energy Investment Strategy – mobilising private investment for Europe’s clean energy transition, with over €75 billion in financing planned by the European Investment Bank Group over the next three years.     More information: https://lnkd.in/eEafUrrH
