Last week we welcomed girls from across Europe for an IT bootcamp to mark Girls'Day - Mädchen-Zukunftstag. Over two days, participants met IT experts and took part in hands on workshops – they even brought LEGO robots to life! They also discovered more about the ECB through tours of our main building, Visitor Centre and Banknotes Lab. Our Girls’ IT Bootcamp is part of our efforts to encourage more girls to explore and consider studies and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics – or STEM for short. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the event such a success.
