We’re all working in a space that feels increasingly crowded. Where what people truly remember are stories that create meaning, build trust and make them feel part of something bigger. And that is something AI cannot replicate. At the EACD Summit 2026 taking place on 18-19 June in Brussels, we will explore a shift many communicators are already feeling: moving from content to storytelling, from audiences to communities, from messages to movements that people recognize themselves in. Across several sessions, we’ll look at how storytelling shows up in practice today: 🎬 Keynote: “Your Job Is Safe. Probably. A Storytelling Wake‑Up Call.” Filmmaker and storytelling strategist Jasper Claus draws a clear distinction between content and storytelling - and explains why understanding that difference is increasingly part of a communicator’s professional judgement. 🎬 Closing keynote: “From Message to Movement: Storytelling That Builds Real Community.” Tara Todras-Whitehill reflects on how genuine human stories transform organisations from something people are aware of into something they want to be part of. 🎬 Workshop: “HANDS ON! Learn How to Find and Tell Your Story, Like a Filmmaker.” Jasper will also lead a practical session focused on how stories surface through conversation, listening and structure, based on an interview method he has refined over years of filmmaking and working with communicators.
