"License to operate" used to be a regulatory concept. Increasingly, it's a communications one. Climate policy. DE&I. Human rights. AI. Companies are being asked to take positions on issues well beyond their products, and every answer (or non-answer) lands differently with governments, employees, investors and the public. In this Agents of Change conversation at the #EACDSummit 2026, Kristofer Barber (Booking.com), Orla Graham MPRCA (CARMA) and Ivanka Djoleva-Minioti Minioti (Mondelēz International) discuss how they approach public affairs and communications under that pressure, and how to communicate genuine trade-offs without oversimplifying, or drifting into performative neutrality. 📍 18-19 June, Brussels - one week from today.
