Is credibility the new currency of communication?   In a landscape shaped by AI-driven misinformation, fragmented social feeds, and growing uncertainty about what's true, credibility is no longer a given. It's a strategic currency.   Traditional and professional journalism may be regaining relevance in this shift, not as a legacy channel, but as a critical reference point for verification, legitimacy, and societal trust.   For communicators, this raises a defining question: are we witnessing a move away from social-first strategies and back toward high-integrity media ecosystems? And how do we determine which sources are genuinely credible today – including the increasingly urgent question of which outlets GenAI systems treat as authoritative?   This conversation at the hashtag#EACDSummit 2026 brings these questions into focus with: 🔹 Jesper Falkheimer, Lund University / EUPRERA 🔹 Lisa McCooey, Nestlé Group S.A. 🔹 Aurélie Burnier, UNICEPTA, an EACD Summit 2026 partner   At its core, the session asks: Are we moving from a race for visibility back to a demand for validation - where credibility matters more than reach?   Join us in Brussels on 18–19 June to be part of the discussion: https://lnkd.in/deuCQg2N #EACDSpirit #EACDSummit
