Having run their practice for ten years with a focus on private clients, the team explains how they utilised the Europan competition to challenge themselves on a larger urban scale. They discuss their strategy for dealing with complex post-war apartment buildings, emphasising preservation over demolition and the value of building a professional network with like-minded experts from across Europe. "We saw a lot of opportunities to improve this place and what we found very interesting to challenge ourselves and see how can we preserve as much of this building as possible and not demolish or well at least demolish very small parts of it."
